Why a SSP?
• Ensures TRADOC Combat Developers and PM staffs have thought through the
benefits, costs, opportunities, and schedule considerations associated with
using M&S.
• Allows other Army activities to see what M&S is being executed and
leverages one program’s strengths into others.
• Documents the use of M&S in the process and keeps definitions consistent.
